Zero-Fare — Just Get On and Go

In 2020, Intercity Transit did something pretty cool: they made bus and paratransit rides free! Now, instead of paying each time you hop on board, your fare is covered through sales tax revenue which keeps buses moving.

This has made a huge difference in our community. More people are riding with Intercity Transit, which is great for the environment because it means fewer cars on the road. It's also easier for everyone to get around, no matter their budget. It's a win-win for making our cities healthier and more welcoming.

We're excited to see how this "fare-free" system continues to benefit everyone in the years to come. It's all part of Intercity Transit's mission to make getting around easy, accessible, and good for the planet.

Transit Centers

Five major transit centers or transfer points are served by several routes and are located at major shopping areas. See the system map for all routes or use the trip planner to find a custom route. Customer Service is located at the Olympia Transit Center and is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
