The museum was founded to bring people together to relive, recollect, and learn about aviation history. Our Mission is to deliver the sights, sounds, smells, and excitement of flight to every museum visitor.
We strive to bring the excitement of vintage aircraft and aviation history to our community and visitors alike. The museum features flying and static aircraft, hosts the annual Olympic Air Show, and offers community events to share the historical significance of aviation in the military and civilian sectors.

Getting There
Getting to the Olympic Flight Museum in Tumwater, Washington from Seattle or Portland is a straightforward journey by car. From Seattle, travelers can take Interstate 5 South for approximately 60 miles, following signs for Tumwater. Similarly, those coming from Portland can hop onto Interstate 5 North for about 110 miles, also following signs for Tumwater. The museum is conveniently located near the Olympia Regional Airport, making it easily accessible for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
