Bittersweet Chocolates

BitterSweet Chocolates opened its doors almost two years ago in downtown Olympia across from the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. Owners Deb Smith and Cindy Uhrich produce all the chocolates on site, specializing in beautifully designed and decorated bonbons made with the very best local, regional and organic ingredients available. They are proud to be the recipient of the Thurston Economic Development Council Center for Business & Innovation’s 2017 New Business of the Year award. Both women retired from South Puget Sound Community College – Deb, in 2014 after 20 years as the Professor of Baking & Pastry Arts, and Cindy, in 2015 after 30 years in Campus Life.
