Overview
The WET Science Center is a fun, hands-on place to learn all about water. It is a part of the LOTT Clean Water Alliance, a nonprofit corporation providing wastewater management services for the urban areas of Lacey, Olympia, and Tumwater. The WET Science Center features interactive exhibits, family-friendly Saturday activities, wastewater treatment plant tours, and educational programs.
Try an optional scavenger hunt to explore the science center. Exhibits and games include information about:
-Water conservation
-What not to flush or send down the drain
-Wastewater treatment, including the role of bacteria in the nitrogen removal process
-Production and use of Class A Reclaimed Water
- Clean water careers
Open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. It’s free to visit! The WET Science Center is located at 500 Adams Street NE, in downtown Olympia
