With the changing landscape and rise in virtual education enrollment, the event serves as an opportunity for families, students, and educators to engage with legislators, policymakers, and the community at large.

Insight School of Washington and Washington Virtual Academies, two leading online learning institutions that are K12-powered learning institutions, are joining forces with the Digital Public Schools Alliance (DPSA) to attend Digital Learning Day at the Capitol in Olympia, Washington, Friday, March 7, 2025.
Advocacy Workshops: Insight School of Washington and Washington Virtual Academies will participate in advocacy workshops organized by DPSA throughout the morning. These workshops will equip parents and educators with effective tools and strategies to advocate for digital public education.
Legislative Updates: Attendees will receive updates on legislative initiatives related to digital public education in the state of Washington. This session will highlight the progress made and upcoming opportunities for advocacy.
Student and Parent Activities: Engaging and interactive activities will be organized for students and parents to foster creativity and collaboration, showcasing the dynamic nature of online learning. There will also be free pizza available for attendees (including gluten-free options).
Legislator Meetings: Families will have the unique opportunity to visit their legislators in their Capitol offices, where they can share personal stories and insights about the benefits of online education and have the opportunity to advocate for initiatives that are vital to online public schools in the state.
