Nalanda Institute for Buddhist Studies is offering a program of readings, discussion, and reflection in person and on Zoom. Those who participate will emerge with a solid grounding in Buddhist thought and practice.
This is part one of a three-part series that will cover three aspects of Buddhist thought and practice:
1. Mahayana – Bodhisattva Buddhism
2. the Buddhist Understanding of Mind
3. Tantrayana – Vajrayana Buddhism.
The Fall 2024 session will be an introduction to Mahayana (beginning October 24 and repeating every Thursday).
We will be reading “Reality and Wisdom: Exploring the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths and The Heart Sutra” by Khenpo Migmar Tseten as well as “Teachings on Sakya Pandita’s Clarifying the Sage’s Intent” by Khenchen Appey Rinpoche,
