The Olympia Wooden Boat Festival has been held every year on Mother's Day weekend for over 40 years, this year it will be on May 10th and 11th.
We celebrate wooden boats, the Puget sound, our community and our history. People can walk along the boardwalk of Percival landing park, taking in the cool sea air, as they shop local, enjoy live entertainment, view and tour Olympia's largest display of wooden boats that line the docks.
As the excitement of summer starts up and the end of the school year winds down, Olympia Wooden Boat festival is a chance to slow down, enjoy the weekend, take mom to a painting class, bring friends to the Sat Foodie Night Block Party and see the Olson Brother Band live as you enjoy a sprit at the Olympia TAP Room and grab a bite to eat in our international food alley from 6-8 on Saturday, May 10th.
We have over 200 things to do and see to provide a fun-filled festival for the young and the young at heart.
